Congratulations! You have been nominated for the 2025 Pinnacle Prize—an award that recognizes bold, purpose-driven leaders making a meaningful difference in Kansas City.  

The Pinnacle Prize awards two $100,000 no-strings-attached prizes to individuals creating lasting impact through selfless action. The Prize was established by Kansas City philanthropists Kenneth and Ann Baum to celebrate those who lead with heart, vision, and a commitment to community. Through the Baums’s investment in exceptional people, we hope to change the trajectory of their work and their lives and to spur them on to greater accomplishments for the benefit of our community.  

What is The Pinnacle Prize reward?   

  • $100,000 award distributed over two years, provided by the G Kenneth and Ann Baum Philanthropic Fund and distributed through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.  

  • A platform to amplify your story that includes media coverage, winner video production, and a presence across The Pinnacle Prize email and LinkedIn channels.   

Process: 

  • For consideration, complete this Candidate Statement of Interest form by 5:00 p.m. on August 11, 2025. Once you’ve started your application, you may return to this form to edit and submit up until the deadline. 

  • The Pinnacle Prize will conduct three rounds of review for all submitted Candidate Statements of Interest.

  • Two winners will be announced November 2025.
